THINGS TO CONSIDER INCLUDING IN YOUR BOOK TALK:
- Know your time limit (1:30)
- What is your HOOK?  Grab your audience's attention
- What are the basics about your book:
        - Who is the author, when was it written
        - What is the book's genre (mystery, magic realism, fantasy, realistic fiction, etc.)
        - How many pages is it - long or short?
        - Who is the target audience?
        - 5 W's - who, what, where, when, why?
- Tell a little about the plot, but don't give away any big events or the ending!
        - read a small excerpt (part of your book)
- Characterization: are they described well, do they grow or change in any way?
- How would you rate the book from 1-5 - one being no way, to five being - you should totally make time for this experience!
