Where to start?  How about important library dates, which will also be along the right hand side bar:

Library Classes: begin the 2nd week of school, Sept. 13th, 14th, 17th

200 Nights of Reading: Five classes received their booklets, Fri., Sept., 9th, while the rest of the divisions will get them during library classes the week of Sept., 12th. Note: back date to the first day of school Sept., 6th, or the day you start your daily reading routine.

Family Lit Day: thank you to parent Tiffany Loewen and her two sons for running this great program a second year in a row.  Get a family account and sign out up to an extra 5 books.  Our first day is Wed., Sept., 21st, 2:15-2:45pm and run weekly.

Festival du Livre (French Scholatic Book Fair), Oct. 4, 5, 7, 2016 (Tue/Wed/Fri).
     - Volunteers will be needed for set up, Fri., Sept. 30th, during the fair, and for pack up (Fri. Oct               7th 3:30 ... til you can [approx. 2 hrs or less pending volunteer #'es]).  Mme. M. desires a parent volunteer coordinator to organize parent cashiers, and parents and students for Fri closure process (smurrell@sd83.bc.ca)
