We also need to celebrate Bastion Elementary's 50th birthday! That's right. Mr. Jakobsen tells us the doors to this amazing school opened in 1966.
Drop by the library to enter draws for five $10 gift certificates at Bookingham Palace, Piccadilly Mall. The draws will be at 6:15pm.
Students enter by writing down their favourite topics they like to learn and read about - in turn, you help me buy high interest books!
Parents if you would like to enter, you must find out the web address for the Bastion library database and the address of this Ardent Librarian library blog . In turn, you know of two great web resources for learning and reading - book mark them as favourites; write them in agendas; post them by the computer; & share with friends.
