The Literacy Alliance for the Shuswap (LASS) writes:
"Unplug & Play is a week-long series of free family events that promote unplugging from technology and spending time together as a family and takes place each year during Family Literacy Week (at the end of January). Local organizations and businesses throughout the North Okanagan-Shuswap host free events for families. Some examples of events include: Random Acts of Reading, Preschool Storytime, Retro Games Night, Family Skate, Family Swim, Books with the ‘Backs, Sliding Party, and many more.
