Festival du Livre Update:
Day 3 (Oct 14th) at the Festival du Livre, Bastion Bobcats plus teachers bought a combined $944 worth of books - wow! The Festival du Livre website shows a total of 54 books purchased.
Therefore, our grand total less taxes is $2439! Our goal was to reach $2500, so we were just $61 short, but overall we did fantastic. Thank you Bobcats!
Our fundraising efforts means that Mme M can spend just over $1000 on new Scholastic French books for our school library - that’s very exciting!
A reminder that the English book fair is in five weeks, Monday, Nov. 29th, to Thursday, Dec. 2nd = 4 days of yummy Scholastic books to explore and potentially buy.
